NOZALA INVESTMENTS

Nozala Investments (Pty) Ltd (“Nozala”) was established in 1996 as a broad based women’s investment company. It was conceived as an investment vehicle that would promote women’s economic needs and allow them the opportunity to participate in the “First economy “ in both listed and unlisted companies.

NOZALA HOLDINGS

Nozala was started by its 10 founding women who’s interests are held in Nozala Holdings.
Founder members, Salukazi Dakile-Hlongwane (CEO) and Lorato Phalatse (Executive Director) lead the management team of Nozala.

NOZALA’S TRUST

• Ensure the economic advancement of women by promoting constructive business partnerships with leading business entities in commerce and industry
• Ensure that women’s entrepreneurship is universally fostered in South Africa
• Proactively develop the businesses in which it has invested
• Ensure that the wealth and prosperity of South Africa’s private and public sectors will benefit women from disadvantaged communities

NOZALA’S INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY

Nozala’s Investment philosophy is a long term investor that supports equity investments with operational involvement through value adding activities.

NOZALA’S SHAREHOLDERS

Nozala has three groups of shareholders:

• Nozala Holdings (Founder members)
• Nozala Trust (Supports womens business start-ups)
• Nozala Empowerment groups (Made up of 500 000 women beneficiaries)
