SALUKAZI DAKILE-HLONGWANE
Chief Executive
Salukazi graduated from the University of Lesotho in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and Statistics. In 1980 she completed her Masters in Administration in Development Economics at Williams College, Massachusetts, USA.
Since 1977 Salukazi has, amongst other positions, worked as part time lecturer in Business Economics at the University of Lesotho, as Programme Manager for the Development Bank of Southern Africa, as a Principal Cooperation Officer at African Development Bank (Abidjan), as a Senior Manager in the Structured Finance Unit of FirstCorp Merchant Bank and as an Assistant General Manager of BOE Investment Bank.
Salukazi is a recipient of numerous awards for her contribution to Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) in South Africa. She was a member of the BEE Task Team set up by the government to develop a BEE framework for business in South Africa. She was also identified by the Financial Mail as one of the twenty (20) most influential business women in South Africa.

LORATO PHALATSE
Executive Director
Lorato Phalatse graduated at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom in 1983 with a BA Honours degree in Political Science. She then went on to complete a Masters degree in Development Studies at the University of York in the United Kingdom in 1985.
Thereafter she joined Unilever South Africa in 1985 as a graduate trainee and was promoted in 1986 to Assistant Brand Manager. She moved to the marketing division of Johnson and Johnson in 1986 where she worked as Brand Manager.
In 1990 she joined the management team of NedPerm Bank as Area Sales Manager in the Banking Operations Division and was then seconded by Nedbank to set up the Women’s Development Bank in 1991 until 1994. She returned to Nedperm Bank for a year until 1995 then joined the Mvula Trust (which is a Rural water and Sanitation programme) for two years.
In 1997 she moved to the Gauteng Provincial Government as Chief Director Management Services then joined Nozala Investments in 1998 until 2002 as Chief Executive. From 2002 until 2007 she was appointed Deputy Director General; Head of the Private Office of the President and in September 2007 re-joined as an Executive of Nozala Investments.

RAMPA RAMMOPO
Chief Operating Officer
Rampa graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 1990 with BCom in Accounting and Business Economics in 1992, he completed his BCom (Honours) degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA). He is currently studying for his CA qualifications.
Rampa’s background includes over 13 years of accounting and investment banking experience. He completed his training as an accountant at Ernst & Young in 1994 to join Gold Fields of SA Limited as a Cost Accountant.
In 1995 he joined FirstCorp Capital (now Ethos Private Equity) as a manager involved in numerous investment-banking transactions and serving on the boards of Directors of FirstCorp’s portfolio companies.
In 1997 Rampa joined African Merchant Bank as a senior Portfolio Manager in the Private Equity Division where he was also responsible for numerous investment banking transactions including the purchase of Radio Jacaranda from the SABC.

NOLUTHANDO MOKONE
General Manager: New Business Development
Noluthando Mokone graduated from the National University of Lesotho with a B.Com Management Degree. She joined the Nozala Management Team in 2004 as a Managing Consultant to Nozala Trust.
In July 2006 she was seconded to Nozala Diamonds, and appointed its first Managing Director. Her management responsibilities in Nozala include new business development and government liaison.
Her work experience includes three years with the Department of Minerals and Energy, as Chief Director: Special Projects in the Director General’s office, and six years with Ntsika Development Finance, in the Manufacturing Advisory Centres and Small Business Council.

BABALWA LOBBIE
Investment Analyst
Babalwa graduated from the University of Port Elizabeth in 2001 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), she further completed her Bachelor of Commerce Honours Accounting from the University of Natal - Durban. In November 2005 she passed the Public Practice Examination (Part II Board Exam) prescribed by the Independent Regulatory Board of Auditors.
She joined Sizwe Ntsaluba vsp in March 2004 to complete her training towards qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. After completing her training, she joined KPMG – Corporate Finance where she obtained significant experience in the field of investments.

KGOMOTSO SIMELANE
Finance Manager
Kgomotso Betty Seleme graduated from the University of the North in 1994 with a Higher Diploma in Education and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Auditing.
Kgomotso’s background includes over 9 years of Accounting and Financial Management experience. She completed her training contract with PWC in 1998 and in 1999 was appointed by Women’s Development Bank as a Financial Manager.
In 2001 she joined African Legend Investments as a Finance Manager and was appointed as Regional Finance Manager of Egoli Region for Sanlam Limited in 2005.
