Busi Tshili

Busi, a qualified Chartered Accountant, spent the initial years after her qualification working in financial Accounting and Senior Financial Management roles for the likes of National Sorghum Breweries, Telkom, etc until she was attracted to the Financial services industry, in particular, Investment Holding and Management at the Peu Group, where she became the second largest shareholder. She has served as a director for various listed companies including Investec Bank, Supergroup, Emerald Insurance, Capital Alliance as well as many privately held companies where Peu had a significant shareholding. She held the position of Deputy chairperson for the Peu Group for 8 years, CEO (for 5 years) of Total Utilities Management Services, a prepaid electricity infrastructure and services company. She was responsible for a significant portion of the Peu investment portfolio, managing the underlying companies’ performance.
