Rampa Rammopo
Rampa Rammopo currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Lanseria International Airport responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, business development, project and executive management of the airport. He previously served as the Chief Investment Officer of Nozala Investments Proprietary Limited from 2004 to 2014, overseeing and managing all aspects of investments and financial management operations of the company. Whilst at Nozala, he served on the boards of directors of the entity’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Nozala, Rampa worked as an investment manager at AMB Private Equity Partners Limited and FirstCorp Capital Investors Limited (now Ethos Private Equity), where he was involved in private equity investment sourcing, acquisitions, monitoring and divestitures. Rampa has over 28 years of experience in investment banking (5), private equity (13) and aviation services (10). Mr Rammopo holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science (Honours) from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Witwatersrand. He is qualified chartered accountant and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and Institute of Directors Southern Africa (IoDSA). He also serves on the board of the Commercial Aviation Association of Southern Africa (CAASA) and is the President of the Association of Airports and Aerodromes Southern Africa (AAA-SA).
