Simphiwe Mashego is a Company Secretary and Legal Practitioner with a Bachelor of Commerce and LLB from the University of Witwatersrand. She is an Attorney Designate with 8 years’ experience in providing in-house legal services, entity incorporation, regulatory compliance and corporate governance advisory to the Nozala Group. Ms Mashego has provided company secretarial and compliance services in various Nozala transactions including Constantia Flexibles (Austria) acquisition of Afripack, Capitec disposal, Exxaro BEE consortium unwind, reinvestment in Kyocera Document Solutions SA and Woodlands Dairy’s acquisition of Fairfields. Simphiwe has extensive experience in corporate commercial law and mergers and acquisitions having advised in transactions both for Nozala and third party clients. She has experience in conducting legal due diligence, negotiating and drafting agreements and applicable legal instruments in subscription of shares, advising on loan facilities of >R500 million with amongst others RMB, ABS and DBSA, and participating in equity acquisitions in listed and privately held companies.
